Explorers
For boys and girls ages 12-16, the Explorers builds upon the skills and experiences that were introduced in Timber Wolves, and emphasizes leadership development, service to others, and spiritual growth.
Explorers work in groups called patrols lead by brother or sister explorers known as a patrol chief. Each patrol has its own unique totem name, cheer and chant. Teenagers like to operate in small groups whereas everyone actively contributes to the success of their patrol as they serve others or even compete against one another.

The FNE Explorers program is designed to help young people develop leadership skills through a variety of activities such as planning and leading outings, organizing community service projects, and mentoring younger members of the organization.
